Before any of that we talk, and the talking is free. Then you get one number in writing. If your job is really less than $150 of work, I will tell you that too. Most small sites are finished in one to two weeks — and most of that is me waiting on your photos.

What counts as a small change? Anything under about fifteen minutes — a photo, a price, your hours, a wording fix. They do not pile up month to month.
Not sure? Start on $29. It covers what most small sites actually need. Stop either plan whenever you like — your site and your files are still yours.

What is not in the price

Your web address. About $15 a year, paid to the registrar, in your name and not mine. Already have one? We use it.
Photos of your own work. Yours to take — I will tell you which shots the page needs and how to take them on a phone.
Anything bigger than a small business site. Big stores, booking systems, company rebuilds — I say so in the first email rather than take the money.

You pay when the site is finished and you have approved it. Not before.

No deposit. If you look at the finished site and decide you do not want it, you owe me nothing. The monthly plan, if you take one, starts the month after the site goes live.
